Test mircobiologico SRB (BART) per solfobatteri

As with the tests for SRB ferrobacteria, this microbiological kit (BART) for sulfobacteria makes it extremely easy to determine the presence / absence of bacteria.

Take a water sample from the well in question and pour it into the BART test vial. Observe the vial for a period of eight days. The SRB BART test will show a positive result when foam is produced and / or a black ring develops around the inner vial of the tube.

Depending on the speed with which the biological reaction is observed, it is possible to obtain an indication of the bacterial charge and density within the water sample. For example, if a reaction is observed within one day of starting the test, the bacterial count is elevated with a reading equal to or greater than 2,200,000 CFU / mL (colony forming unit). Also, if a reaction is seen after only 6 days, the bacteria count is 1400 CFU / mL. A negative test is considered negative in the absence of black color and with no clouding after 9 days.

The instructions for the SRB BART kit include a table to approximate the bacterial load of the sample.
